We promote and disseminate our vacation planner at regional trade shows, 123 businesses along the Highway 395 corridor and through advertisements and fulfillment requests. This extensive outreach promotes the natural beauty of the area, and offers potential visitors compelling and convincing reasons for year round visitation.

This important resource assists and provides information 24/7 and continues to be an excellent source for referrals for our membership.

It also highlights new members and provides educational information on a variety of topics.

Board of Directors Monthly Meetings

Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30 am (location varies).  These meetings give the opportunity for public comments from members or the general public, it also gives the board and members time to receive staff reports, marketing and membership updates and legislative information.  Where action is required or requested of the board, the request needs to be submitted two weeks in advance of the board meeting to allow review time by Board members.

Networking Mixers

Informal membership gatherings are designed to give members and guests an opportunity to meet one another and to promote their products or services. The mixers are typically held at member business locations. These informal mixers also afford the opportunity to exchange and learn about the challenges other local business owners have.

Legislative Representation

During the course of daily business, the staff Researches and gathers information regarding legislation which might affect tourism, and the general economic well-being of the community. This information is organized and the Executive Director and staff meet with our state legislators and agencies whose decisions might have an effect on the area.
